May Meeting—You Will Put on the Program

May’s program will be a time of show and tell.

Bob George will demonstrate how to prepare your plants and trusses for display at May show.

The rest of us will present show and tell. Please bring a few of your best or favorite slides or digital pictures to share. They can be rhododendrons, azaleas, gardens you have visited, or views of your garden. Digital and slide projects will be available or you can display your hard copy pictures.

Don smart and Dean and Charlotte Smith will also give their impressions of rhododendrons in and around Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Also don’t forget to bring flower trusses to share.

Bring a friend.

At our regular meetings there are rhododendrons available for the door prize and for raffle. There is be coffee, juice and sweets. And hopefully the "Dollar Table" will be stocked with all kinds of treasures.

As always visitors are more than welcome - encouraged, even!

Who We Are

The aim of the Cascade Chapter, a chapter of the American Rhododendron Society, is to help the membership have a better understanding of growing rhododendrons. Members share their expertise and experiences in such areas as plant propagation, fertilization, pruning, and hybridization.

Membership not only affords a means to learn, but also a healthy and friendly environment to share, and enjoy the association of other garden lovers. Frequently, members show slides taken at various gardens, both near and far, that illustrate the beauty and diversity of the genus rhododendron. Members have opportunities to obtain plants via door prizes, raffles, and auctions.
